Music and Dance from the Theatre of Cambodia.
16-19 Sept 2003. The National Theatre of Cambodia directed by Mao Keng performs the traditional work Gods, kings, demons and princesses. All the main disciplines are represented, including the classical dance of the Cambodian royal ballet and the masked dance/theatre that represents the myths and legends of the countrys culture. In the Theatre of Shadows, large leather figures act out the stories of the Indian epic Ramayana. For Torino Settembre Musica.
