In Immersion/Wind, Woman/Mandala, choreography by Carolyn Carlson. Carlson was one of Alwin Nikolais's leading dancers when she left in 1971 to choreograph. Shortly afterwards, she moved to Paris. From 1975 to 1980 she directed and choreographed for a specially-created modern dance ensemble at the Paris Opera Ballet. Then she headed a similar new company at Venice's La Fenice Theatre connected to the Venice Biennale. Well over 60, Carlson continues to innovate and create pieces charged with the personal emotion that is exclusive to her name. Teatro di S. Carlo, Teatrino di Corte a Palazzo Reale.
