A Serious Game shown in Swedish with English subtitles.

25 July. The Nordic Film Fest Summer programme at Palazzo Merulana screens A Serious Game in its original Swedish language version with English subtitles on Thursday 25 July at 21.00.

Directed by Pernilla August, the film tells the story of a young couple, journalist Arvid Stjärnblom and Lydia Stille, who fall madly in love. The movie is described as "a passionate and fiery love story about the choices we have, the ones we don´t, the choices we make and the consequences that follow."

The Nordic Film Fest Summer 2019 presents a selection of the best films presented in the previous editions of the Rome's annual Nordic Film Fest, organised by the support of the embassies of Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, along with the participation of Iceland and Rome's Circolo Scandinavo.
