25 June. Rome's German Academy at Villa Massimo is holding its annual summer party at Olevano Romano, a mediaeval village in the mountains east of the capital, on Saturday 25 June.

The evening event, which takes place at Casa Baldi from 18.30, begins with an aperitivo, followed by an exhibition by visual artist Antonia Low, a lecture in German and Italian by writer Lucy Fricke, live music by ARANIRA, a reception, and ending with a dj set by Björn Störig.

Buses between Rome and Olevano Romano will be provided by the academy, whose Villa Massimo base is closed for renovation until September. The buses depart at 16.30 from three locations: Villa Massimo (Largo di Villa Massimo 1-2), the American Academy in Rome (Via Angelo Masina 5), and the Romanian Academy (Piazza José de S. Martin).
