Under the shrewd guidance of the architect Moschini, this gallery has kept its finger on the pulse of present-day art in Rome for decades from the most staid fantasy-figurative to the wilds of concept abstraction, without prejudice. His survey here feels like a family album. It offers choice morsels from the banquet of art in Rome now. Noone is desperately famous or fancy or chic, everyone is inventive and lively and sincerely intent on developing their ideas. As in an open workshop you can see minds at work. There are examples from the busy hands of Elvio, Cotani, Fioroni, Klerr, Levini, Lombarde, Luzzi, Mambor, Montessori, Morales, Nelli, Passi, Schloss and many others (Edith Schloss).
