Shadowboxer (US). Dir. Lee Daniels, starring Helen Mirren and Cuba Gooding Jr. The lives of two professional hit men changes dramatically when one is diagnosed with cancer.
The Eye 3 - Infinity (HK). Dir. Oxide and Danny Pang, starring Ekin Cheng and Angelica Lee. A group of young people decide to contact the spirit world and encounter some ghosts who have not yet abandoned the earthly realms in this horror.
The Ringer - L'imbucato (US). Dir. Barry W. Blaustein with Johnny Knoxville and Brian Cox. A man in desperate need of money decides to compete in the Paralympics by faking a mental handicap in this black comedy.
Three Dollars (Au). Dir. Robert Connolly, starring David Wenham and Frances O'Connor. Drama about a man and the three women in his life: his daughter, his wife and his childhood sweetheart, who reappears every nine and a half years.
Tom White (Aus). Dir. Alkinos Tsilimidos, starring Colin Friels and Rachael Blake. Five stories on the theme of solitude in this narrative epic.
