25 May 2010. In The Cold Dagger, October, The Eagle, Le Sagre du Printemps. The birth of this contemporary dance company in 2005 not only caught international attention, but also captured the imagination of many artists in China. It came at a time of rapid cultural change and is China's first non-governmental and independent professional dance company. Founded by veteran choreographers and a new generation of dancers in the country, it is a platform for both contemporary and innovative creations. Under the artistic direction of Willy Tsao, China's foremost figure in modern dance, the company boasts an ensemble of 14 technically perfect dancers and a diverse repertoire.
