Palazzo Farnese: From the Renaissance collections at the French Embassy.
17 Dec-27 April 2010. An exhibition of 150 renaissance works including paintings, sculpture, drawings, tapestries and ceramics are on display at Palazzo Farnese. The objects illustrate the building's rich five-century history from when it was commissioned in the 16th century by Cardinal Alessandro Farnese, later Pope Paul III, to its use over the last 135 years as the seat of the French embassy in Italy.
Organised by the ministry for cultural heritage, the idea for the exhibition came from the French ambassador Jean-Marc de La Sabli
