One of the best ensembles of mediaeval music La Reverdie is directed by actor and director Paolo Rossi in this modern-day premier of Le Roman du Fauvel a 14th-century poem by Gervais de Bus put to music by Philipppe de Vitryan. This ancient mediaeval opera, a story of the corruption of political and religious power, has been transformed into a modern satire. At Teatro Olimpico.
