Patti Smith in Rome
20 July 2012. The American singer-songwriter Patti Smith set new standards for the New York City punk rock movement when she released her debut album "Horses" in 1975.
Referred to as the "Godmother of Punk", Smith's best-known song is "Because the Night", co-written with Bruce Springsteen.
