Patti Smith
Described as the most significant special music project to be launched this year by the Musica per Roma Foundation, “My Festival” is directed by rock icon Patti Smith who has personally chosen the multi-disciplinary programme. She appears in two separate events; a tribute to Allen Ginsberg entitled The poet speaks with Patti Smith, Philip Glass, Lenny Kaye and Jesse Smith on 13 April; and an event dedicated to Smith’s most famous album, Horses, with Patti Smith and her band on 14 April.
