1 Oct. The Rome-based Peter Pan Onlus association, which provides support for families with children suffering from cancer, is holding its annual Peter Pan marathon on Sunday 1 October at the Villa Pamphilj park.
Now in its 19th edition, this year’s event is open to individuals and groups, and there are two runs: a 4.2-km non-competitive run for adults at 10.00, and children's races (aged under 11) at 11.30.
The event is always a fun day out for all the family, and is particularly geared towards kids, but more importantly the funds raised will go towards sustaining the Casa di Peter Pan in Trastevere.
Participants can register online until 21.00 on 29 September, or after that in person at the "Punto Jogging" area of Villa Pamphilj in Piazzetta del Bel Respiro (Via Vitellia, corner Via Olimpica). For full details, including information regarding donations, see website.
