10-31 Jan 2008. Sculpture and xylography. Peter Rockwell is an American artist who has lived in Rome for more than 40 years. He has had more than thirty shows in Italy and the United States. He has done comissions for Philadelphia, the Washington Cathedral, Boston College and various other places in the United States and for the Cathedral of Chioggia and Saint Pauls Within the Walls in Rome in Italy. His art is a combination of people, birds, trees, and abstract forms that live and fly in a world of fantasy.
