The Institute for Creative Writing and Literary Translation at Rome's John Cabot University presents a poetry reading by David Starkey who will read from his new book of poems about Rome, Circus Maximus, on Sunday 24 March from 19.00-21.00.

Among the collections of poems by the accomplished American poet are Starkey's Book of States; Adventures of the Minor Poet; Ways of Being Dead: New and Selected Poems; David Starkey's Greatest Hits; and Fear of Everything, winner of Palanquin Press's Spring 2000 chapbook contest.
