14 May-9 June 2010. This annual arts festival organised by the Polish Institute of Rome has a wide-ranging programme of events and performances from theatre to jazz, from dance to cinema, from lectures and readings to classical music. Events take place in different venues, including the headquarters of the institute itself, Palazzo Blumenstihl, which has recently undergone extensive and splendid restoration, and hosts for the occasion a selection of works from the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. The programme includes a performance for children by actor/musician Moni Ovadia who reads poems and other excerpts by Julian Tuwin (3 June), two different dramatic performances by the theatrical company Teatr Montownia from Warsaw (4, 5 June), a lecture by literary critic Tomasz Kierenczuk (8 June) and, finally, a performance by the Teatr Nowy of Cracow entitled Filozofia w buduarze (9 June).
