Promoting Gaelic Football in Rome
An Irish television station is running a campaign to promote Gaelic football and hurling clubs around the world with photos of GAA teams in interesting locations.
Members of the Rome Gaelic Football Club are getting involved and have invited other Irish people in Rome to join them by donning their own Gaelic club or county colours on Saturday 22 March.
The club's members and friends are meeting at the Colosseum at 13.00 before posing in front of some of the most famous sites in the city centre, with the promise of a few "pit stops" along the way.
For more information see the club's Facebook page while for details of the competition see Hector Ó hEochagáin's FB page.
