24 July-30 Aug. This is the only all-Puccini festival and and this year's four operas are the same as last year, although there is a new production of Tosca to mark the 115th anniversary of its first performance at the Teatro Costanzi in Rome. It is conducted by Valerio Galli, directed by Vivien Hewitt and the sets are the work of Mimmo Paladino one of the most famous exponents of the Transavantguardia movement. Daniela Dessì sings the part of Tosca, Fabio Armiliato Cavaradossi and baritone Giovanni Meoni the part of Scarpia.

Tosca (24, 31 July, 15, 21 and 30 Aug), Turandot (25 July, 7, 16, 23, 28 Aug), Madame Butterfly (1-29 Aug) and Trittico (20 Aug).

In the Puccini Off part of the festival there are also the Spadau Ballet (9 Aug) reunited for the first time since 2007; two concerts by the winners of the S. Remo popular song contest Il Volo (12 and 13 Aug) and a new choreography Un omaggio al genio di Puccini inspired by Puccini's music by French choreographer and dancer Jiulien Lestel (19 Aug).

The events take place in the open-air theatre on the banks of La Massacciucolo, in the grounds of the villa where Puccini worked and was buried.
