Rome Gaelic Football Club is holding its second pub quiz at Scholars Lounge on Via del Plebiscito on Monday 12 November.

Now a fortnightly event, the proceeds of every second quiz will go towards funding the fledgling sporting organisation. (The next quiz on Monday 26 November will be a normal quiz, while the one after that will raise funds for the Gaelic Football Team.)

The quiz takes place at 20.00 and there is a cost of €25 per team, with a maximum number of five people on each team. The ten rounds include questions on current affairs, movies, sport and general knowledge, and there are prizes for the top three teams.

The increasing number of footballers for the men's and ladies' teams include Irish, American, Italian, English, Scottish, Welsh, Belgian and German players. 

The club was founded in September and holds weekly training sessions at the Roma Rugby pitch on Via delle Tre Fontane every Thursday evening at 20.00.
