Racing against breast cancer.
The annual "Race for the Cure" organised by the Italian chapter of the breast cancer charity Komen takes place on Sun 18 May. The 5-km run and 2-km fitness walk are part of an international initiative to promote awareness about breast cancer and to raise funds for research.
Participation is in teams of at least ten people and teams must be registered by the team captain. Registration costs 7 per person before 11 May, 10 per person 12-18 May, and 5 for children under ten years of age.
