RAVENNA. I Preraffaelitti. Il sogno del 400 italiano, da Beato Angelico a Perugino, da Rossetti a Burne-Jones.
28 Feb-6 June. Exhibition on the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood and its main exponents, from Dante Gabriel Rossetti to Edward Burne-Jones. Founded in London in the mid-19th century, the movement looked to the art, landscape , literature and history of Italy in the 1400s for its inspiration, and visitors can also admire work by Italian masters of this period including Fra Angelico and Perugino.
Following its Italy showing the exhibition will be at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford from 15 September-5 December.
