Soprano Lydia O’Kane is accompanied by pianist Francesco Del Fra in a programme dedicated to English language songs. The recital entitled “From Ireland to America" will feature a number of melodies by the famed 18th-century Irish composer and poet Thomas Moore as well as music from M.W. Balfe’s Opera “The Bohemian Girl” and songs by American composer George Gershwin.
