Rendez-vous French film festival in Rome
6-10 April. The sixth edition of Rendez-vous, the festival dedicated to new French cinema, is being held in Rome from 6-10 April.
The five-day festival will feature more than 30 movies, from blockbusters to independent and short films, and is designed to showcase the best of contemporary French cinema.
The event is hosted in various locations around Rome such as Cinema Fiamma, Institut français Centre Saint-Louis, Casa del Cinema, and the French Academy at Villa Medici, and the premieres will be accompanied by encounters, debates and masterclasses by French and Italian figures from the world of cinema.
Highlights include Mister Chocolat, in the presence of its director Roschdy Zem, Good Luck Algeria by Farid Bentoumi, Bang Gang by Eva Husson, and Maryland by Alice Winocour.
