From 5 to 11 November the capital hosts Restaurant Week, the culinary event which features delicacies prepared by the city’s finest chefs and is organised by the online restaurant guide DiningCity Italy with the support of the Michelin and Gambero Rosso restaurant guides.
At €25 per person (excluding drinks), the cost of a three-course meal is considerably less than the normal price in Rome’s fine-dining venues.
A surcharge of €10 applies to restaurants in possession of more than 75 points as listed in the Gamberro Rosso guide and more than 14 points in the Espresso guide, while if selecting a Michelin-starred establishment, the cost per person increases by €15 for each stars.
The 80 participating restaurants in Rome and surrounding towns serve a variety of cuisine including Mediterranean, traditional, vegetarian and ethnic.
