15-16 Sept. The English Theatre of Rome is holding auditions for Don Carroll's new play If Lear had a Lawyer, casting male and female actors, all races, aged 20s-80s, either English mother-tongue or slight accent. Based on Shakespeare's King Lear from a lawyer's perspective, this is the first play by Carroll, an American attorney and long-term Rome resident who performs and directs with the city's English-language theatre companies. Auditions take place on 15 Sept from 19.30-22.00 and on 16 Sept from 15.30-18.00 at Sounds Good Studios on Via Dancalia 9. To book an audition send CV to learlawyer@gmail.com.
