7-11 June. This annual festival is back for its 12^th season under the direction of Robert McDuffie. In addition to the programme of concerts, international musicians coach 19 promising musicians in the young artists programme. There are also two dance events (7-8 June) with Silvia Azzoni and Oleksandr Ryabko, the principal dancers of the Hamberg Ballet. Music by Beethoven, Brahms, Schubert, Spohr, Adams, Glass, Pärt Martucci and cinema music. Rehearsals are open to the public from 4 June. The opening night concert on 7 June is by invitation only but the programme is repeated on 8 June.
