Festival of traditional Roman cuisine in Testaccio.
9-10 Nov. A festival dedicated entirely to authentic Roman cuisine will take place at the Città dell'Altra Economia in the Testaccio area of Rome over the weekend of 9-10 November.
Chefs will present traditional Roman specialities including Amatriciana and Cacio e Pepe, Pasta e Fagioli and Gricia, Coda alla Vaccinara, Trippa, and Carciofi alla Giudia.
Other favourites on the menu will include creative versions of the classic Supplì, the majestic Maritozzo, crispy Porchetta from Ariccia, and all kinds of variations of Tiramisù.
All dishes cooked on the spot, admission is free, paying only for what you eat. The festival is open Sat 11.00-23.00 and Sun 11.00-18.00. For details see Facebook event page.
