Rome International Storytelling Festival
The fifth edition of the Rome International Storytelling Festival starts on 20 June and runs until 23 June.
The four-day Raccontamiunastoria (tell me a story) festival is set in the Appia Antica park and features storytellers from all over the world, many of whom perform and direct workshops in English. The festival celebrates the spoken word and is designed for both adults and children.
The English-language storytellers include David Ambrose from Wales; Shelley Gnade and Mary-Beth Howard from the US; Jan Andrews and Jennifer Cayley from Canada; and Jackie Kerin from Australia.
