24 April. Rome's Vitala Festival hosts a concert by accomplished singer Riccardo Mei & his Band: a special tribute to Frank Sinatra and Antonio Carlos Jobim, on Wednesday 24 April at 21.00.

In 1967 Sinatra recorded with Jobim, the inventor of "bossa nova", the new Brazilian musical style sweeping across the world at the time.

The Rome concert pays tribute to this collaborative project by Sinatra and Jobim, and is described by organisers as an evening of timeless music and suggestive atmosphere.

Tickets cost €15 (€13 for students), including first drink at the bar. An optional buffet with refreshments will be available from 20.00.
