Rumours run riot, and intrigue, lies and misunderstandings all come into Neil Simons comedy farce which the Rome Savoyards are performing at St Stephens school in November. Rumors, directed by Sandra Provost, is the second Savoyard production of the year from this English-speaking amateur company, which is well known in the city for its biannual productions of plays and operas.

Rehearsals have just begun for its next production, The Yeoman of the Guard by Gilbert and Sullivan, due to open in February 2005. Anyone wishing to join the Savoyards should consult their website www.romesavoyards.org.
