Shakespearean festival ends with Romeo and Juliet.
8-13 Oct. The 16th edition of Rome's annual Shakespeare festival concludes with an English-language production of Romeo and Juliet by London's Bedouin Shakespeare Company.
Directed by Chris Pickles, Romeo and Juliet will be staged at the Silvano Toti Globe Theatre in Villa Borghese from 8-13 October.
Rome’s Globe Theatre is a full-scale timber reproduction of Shakespeare’s Globe, copied from the original oak and thatch designs, and almost identical to the one that stands on London’s South Bank.
Performances of Romeo and Juliet are scheduled from 8-11 Oct at 20.45 and 12-13 Oct at 18.00.
