Rossella Brescia and Stefano De Martino.
30 March. In Cassandra, choreography by Luciano Cannito. The work is based on the book of the same name by Christa Wolf who retells the story of the fall of Troy, but from the point of view of the woman whose visionary powers earned her contempt and scorn. Cannito has transposed the action into a Sicilian town of the 1950s, and just as Wolf does in her novel, he makes an urgent call to examine the past in order to insure a future.
