21-24 March. Antonio Pappano conducts the S. Cecilia orchestra with Alexander Romanovsky at the piano playing Rachmaninoff's concerto number 1. Rachmaninoff's Island of the Dead and the Sibelius symphony number 2, are also on the programme. To mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of Sibelius there is also an exhibition Il mondo di Jean Sibelius at the Museo degli Stumenti Musicali, Piazza S. Croce in Gerusalemme 9/a from 11.00-17.00.
