S. Susanna Library book sale
The S. Susanna Library, the English-language lending library in Rome, is holding its next sale of used books from 21 May until 30 May.
The sale takes place during normal library hours: Tues, Thurs 10.00-13.00; Wed 15.00-18.00; Fri 13.00-16.00; and Sun 10.00-12.30.
Attached to the parish of the American Catholic Church in Rome, the library has provided a lending service to Rome’s English-speaking readers for over 40 years, and is operated with the assistance of volunteers.
It is located on the second floor of the building to the right of the Church of S. Susanna, and it houses over 20,000 titles. Its categories include literature, art, religion, archaeology, history, travel, cookery and novels, as well as a children's section containing many out-of-print classics.
The library will be open during the summer but with reduced opening hours, to be announced in mid-June.
