The eighth edition of the Sagra degli arrosticini is being held in Riano, about 20km north of Rome, from 29 May to 2 June.
The festival is dedicated to the skewers of grilled lamb, known as arrosticini, and takes place at Piazza Gran Sasso in Riano.
In addition to the arrosticini there are sausage sandwiches, hot dogs, porchetta, chips, wine, beer and crepes with nutella.
The five-day festival begins each evening at 19.00, with live music and dancing starting at 21.00.
