The garden was designed in the 1960, by landscape architect Russel Page, around the romanesque church of S. Liberato at Bracciano.Huge lawns and beds of plants, shrubs and flowers, a mediaeval hertb garden and a formal rose garden with more than 1,000 rose bushes.

The garden is open to the public from May until October on the first and last Sunday of the month, except on public holidays and for August when it is closed. In November the garden is open on the first and second Sunday and then closes for the winter.

The garden opens at 16.30. Guided visits are possible at other times for groups by prior arrangement. adults 6, children 3, reduced prices for groups.
