Sandro Sanna: aMare
27 May-30 June. Site-specific exhibition by Rome-based Sardinian artist Sandro Sanna who works between painting, sculpture and installation.
Curated by Alberto Dambruoso, the exhibition takes its theme from the ongoing tragedy of the immigration crisis in the Mediterranean, a sea that has recently become synonymous with sadness.
Sanno's works evoke the surface of the water as well as the sea's role as a border that separates two worlds.
