Santa Rosello: Sedici artisti per testimoniare.

6-20 Oct 2007. Milly Coda, Maria Giulia Drago, Adriani Ferrari Benedetto, Carlo Giusto, Bruno Gorgone, Giovanni Job, Giorgio Laveri, Renata Minuto, Marcello Mogni, Gianni Picazzo, Luigi Maria Rigon, Giorgio Robustelli, Arturo Santilli, Nani Tedeschi, Giovanni Tinti, Giuseppe Trielli, all artists mostly from Liguria and Tuscany take part in this exhibition featuring paintings and ceramics inspired by the life and deeds of Saint Maria Giuseppa Rossello. All the works on display shown for the first time to the public have actually been donated to the Istituto Santa Rosello in Savona by the artists.

Born in 1811 in Albissola Marina, close to Savona, Saint Rosello initially joined the Third Franciscan Order. Approved in 1840 by the Holy See, her new order Figlie della Nostra Signora della Misericordia built schools for poor young girls spreading thus rapidly all over Europe and Africa.

The exhibition supported by Associazione R. Riolfi, Diocese of Savona
