Schnbrunn Easter Fair
12-28 March 2005.
This Easter the beautiful Baroque castle and grounds of Schnbrunn Palace are the setting for an Easter Egg Fair offering eggs a plenty in all shapes and sizes. Anyone with a sweet tooth would be well advised to admire this sugar-fuelled tour de force featuring more eggs per square inch than your average hen house, but this time made of chocolate, marzipan, praline, and fondant. A feast for the eye as well as the taste buds. The fair is no one trick pony with an array of novelty Easter items like fine handmade wooden eggs, toys, and religious carvings. The children can take a break from their munching and take part in the Easter egg hunts and there are flower arranging courses too. Entrance is free.
