25 June-3 Aug 2005. The International Chamber Ensembles 24th season of concerts and opera offers the public 15 symphonic and operatic evenings. As in the past few years, events take place in one of the citys most splendid examples of renaissance architecture, the courtyard of S. Ivo alla Sapienza. The programme consists of 11 diverse concert programmes ranging from Bach and Vivaldi to Brahms, Beethoven, Ravel and Piazzolla. It also includes an evening dedicated to Pergolesi as well as four fully-staged and costumed performances of Mozarts Le nozze di Figaro, presented in collaboration with the 2005 edition of the Opera Estate Festival.
