Shannon Ebner: Auto Body Collision
The Fondazione Memmo presents a solo exhibition by American artist Shannon Ebner, curated by Cloé Perrone.
The assembled works are the result of the artist's recent stay at Rome's Palazzo Ruspoli and revolve around the concept of collision, recovery, reassembly and loss.
Ebner's research explores the boundaries between photography and sculpture, image and word, merging text with photographs to create a dialogue that plays on the jargon used in automotive repair shops.
