This interactive detective play, Sherlock Holmes and the Mystery of the Mummy, is recommended for children aged 8 to 13.
This intriguing play retraces the atmosphere of British Victorian literature through a re-visitation of Sherlock Holmes, created by Arthur Conan. Sidney, great-grandchild of the great investigator Sherlock Holmes, has inherited a house from his famous ancestor in Backer Street. Re-arranging the attic, he unexpectedly finds an old trunk, which belonged to Sherlock. From that moment Sherlock’s phantom will start talking and interacting with him. The advice of the great investigator will help Sidney to solve tangled enigma, related to an Egyptian mummy, which his father Nigel, expert in Egyptian history, is examining at the British Museum.
Young spectators will have to contribute with their solutions.
Sun 16.00, 18.00.
