The Days of Rome - The Age of Balance
The third installment in the "The Days of Rome" series of five exhibitions dedicated to the history of Rome from the Republic to late antiquity. This exhibition focuses of the imperial period from 98 to 180 AD, between the reigns of Trajan and Marcus Aurelius, a period in which the empire was characterised by artistic splendour and relative peace.
Archimedes. Art and science of invention
The Capitoline Museums pay tribute to Archimedes, the great Sicilian mathematician, physicist and inventor, with an exhibition illustrated by models of his inventions and a virtual reconstruction of his native Syracuse from his time there in the third century BC.
