7-12 May. The eighth edition of the capital’s Spanish Film Festival takes place at the Cinema Farnese Persol in Campo de’ Fiori from 7-12 May.

The six-day event features a mixture of classic and contemporary Spanish-language cinema, all screened with Italian subtitles.

This year there is a tribute to veteran Spanish film director Carlos Saura, who will attend the festival on the evening of 7 May, to introduce the classic Cría cuervos, the first of his five films being screened at the festival.

Another special guest is the actress Isabel Coixet who will introduce Cosas que nunca te dije on the evening of 9 May.
