The little town of Spoleto was put on the map of the arts world thanks to the Festival of Two Worlds nearly 50 years ago; SpoletoEstate, which started off in a low key but has been growing year by year, is not nearly as sophisticated with a wide-ranging programme that includes pop and jazz music, some dance events, lots of cinema and a recital by soprano Katia Ricciarelli. An art exhibition dedicated to Ugo Nespolo completes the offering.
