The newly re-formed and rechristened St Andrew's Society of Rome holds its inaugural event on Saturday 30 November, St Andrew's Day.
The St Andrew's Night Dinner and Celeidh, an evening of dinner and dancing in honour of Scotland's patron saint, takes place at 19.00 at the Orto di Roma restaurant on Via di Grotta Perfetta 551, in the Ardeatina area.
The club is currently in a development phase and is building on the former Caledonian Society of Rome.
Organisers told Wanted in Rome that part of the purpose of the upcoming event "is to bring together a group of people including Scots, those with Scottish heritage and those interested in Scottish culture with a view to setting up a formalised society in the very near future."
