St Nicholas Serata for Charity
5 Dec. Six charities helping people in Rome will benefit from this year’s St Nicholas Serata for Charity on Saturday 5 December.
The beneficiaries include the Centro Astalli Refugee Centre; the Joel Nafuma Refugee Center; Arché, which works with children who are HIV+ or have AIDS; the Casa Famiglia Villa dell Pino in Monte Porzio Catone, that helps AIDS patients; the Istituto di S. Giuseppe e S. Teresa that houses orphans and troubled children in family homes; and the Di Liegro Foundation that helps alleviate situations of economic or political discrimination.
The event, sponsored by S. Susanna, the American Roman Catholic church in Rome, includes dinner, dancing, an auction and a raffle with prizes including an adventurous trip for two to Kenya, a Mediterranean cruise and an Apple watch.
The evening event takes place at Marymount International School, Via di Villa Lauchili 180 (near Via Cassia), 19.00-01.00.
