15 July-6 Sept. The Kino arthouse cinema presents a two-month festival of open-air cinema and parallel cultural events including live music and readings at the Ex Dogana (former custom house) in the S. Lorenzo district.

All films are screened in their original language version, with Italian subtitles. In addition to its cinema programme, festival-goers can enjoy cocktails and competitions of pool and ping pong.

In 2010 the former Grauco film club in Pigneto was transformed into Cinema Kino, which shows Italian and international films throughout the year.
