Summer Season at the Silvano Toti Globe Theatre.
30 June-25 Sept 2005. The wonderful open-air theatre that emulates Shakespeares Globe Theatre in London warms up for the summer season with a production of Romeo and Giulietta (30 June-21 July) directed by Gigi Proietti. From 25 July the play is Marivauxs La Disputa directed by Alvaro Piccardi, followed by Twelfth Night (2-11 Aug), Gossip by Sheridan (25 Aug-11 Sept), and finally Loves Labours Lost (23-25 Sept) directed by Giles Smith. All plays are in Italian.
