Dance and opera are the stars at the Baths of Caracalla this year, with only one symphonic concert by the orchestra and choir of the Teatro dellOpera: Beethovens IXth Symphony conducted by Gianluigi Gelmetti, with Carla Maria Izzo, Laura Polverelli, Massimo Giordano and Marco Vinco, on 26 July (21.00). Carmen by Bizet. 24 July-3 Aug. Conducted by Michel Plasson, directed by Francesco Esposito, with Sonia Ganassi, Ildebrando DArcangelo, Alberto Cupido, Elizabeth Norberg Schultz (21.00).
