19-29 April. Teatro India stages an Italian adaptation of Henry Naylor's Echoes: two monologues by two British women who live 175 years apart. One is Victorian colonial pioneer who would build an empire, the other a bright, Islamist schoolgirl who would build a caliphate. Both women are idealists, with strong religious faith, and both would travel to the east, to impose their ideals on unwilling people.
